This "Picture book on infectious poultry diseases’’ is a collection of pictures of different but clinically similar diseases that could be mistaken on clinical appearance for Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza. It has been compiled as a tool for extension personnel involved in avian disease awareness work and poultry owners in detecting Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza should it occur the currently free southern African region.
The book has been used also as a training tool during trainings of animal health and farmers courses in SADC countries.
